Dawson Springs Police Department
The Dawson Springs Police Department enjoys a long history to coincide with the rich history of Dawson Springs. We have traced the origin of police in this community back as far as 1874, when the first post office opened. Dawson Springs is a community of approximately 2200 residents, bordering the Tradewater River. It’s located primarily in the Southwestern corner of Hopkins County. Our city limits extend into Caldwell County to incorporate Riverside Park, an early 1900’s major league baseball field that was utilized by the Pittsburgh Pirates for spring training.
