NOTICE OF BID SOLICITATION

Notice is hereby given that the City of Dawson Springs, Kentucky is accepting bids for the demolition and removal of one (4) abandoned house located at 114 N Trim, 196 Locust, 108 Flower, and 609 E Keigan in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. Anyone interested in submitting a bid should contact Janet Dunbar, City Clerk/Treasurer or Fred Rawley, Code Enforcement Officer at the Municipal Building, Dawson Springs, Kentucky.

The bid must include the cost of tearing down the building and removal of the debris from the lot. The bid must also include certification that all appropriate state and federal employment laws and regulations, including workers compensation coverage are complied with.

Bids must be returned not later than March 27 at 3:00 p.m. The City of Dawson Springs reserves the right to reject any bids in excess of projected cost and/or bids that do not comply with the bid requirements. ...

I would like be to see DawsonSprings grow, new jobs, Bring back the health spa, A nice hotel, add hot baths, it was poplar back in 40-50’s People would come from all over to take heath baths, that was before it became popular, like now. We have a great state park, golf course, boating, fishing, hunting, Hiking.
